    Background

The World Study Bank is an initiative in cooperation with JoHo. JoHo is a Dutch NGO aiming to set up as many international centers as possible, dealing with work, travel and international cooperation. The main goals of the organisation are: passing on knowledge, promoting international contacts, awareness and giving advise on the above mentioned subjects.

JoHo started fifteen years ago as a local youth foundation for educational support. The organisation still offers a wide variety of educational support products to academic students in The Netherlands, but the focus of the organisation has moved more and more to international cooperation, as mentioned above. At the moment JoHo has four mega-centers in The Netherlands and an international network of JoHo centers in more than twenty countries.
